Fly With Bike
A project with two total different sports.
- Paragliding
- Bicycling
Most people take the car or airplane going on vacation but we want the help the earth a little bit.
We travel from the one to the other flying place with our bikes. All our equipment we are carrying with us. Also the tandemglider, tent, cooking material,... goes in the little bagage carrier.
The flying equipment is about 20 kg extra to pull over the mountains (maybe it helps when we'll cruising down).
The route goes from Luxembourg in the direction of Saint Hilaire, with stops on lots of flying places.
We hope to drive about 100 km/day. Where we stay it depends on the possibility of the area.
The start of the tour is in the first week of July.
Halfway we have a little break. We going to fly with our flying club in the area of Mieussy.
Every paragliding pilot knows that on that mountains the first flights are made with a paraglider.
